How can I protect myself against catching COVID?
Wash your hands regularly with soap and water for at least 20 seconds. Between washes, use hand sanitiser on your hands often when you come into contact with high touch surfaces such as doorknobs.
Sneeze and cough only into the crook of your arm or into a handkerchief.
If possible, do not touch your face with your hands.
Always keep a distance of at least 1.5 metres from other people, no matter where you are.
Wear a medical mask that covers your mouth and nose. In many areas this may even be mandatory, for example in shops, doctors' surgeries, public buildings or on buses and trains. But you should also wear the mask as often as possible when you come into contact with other people.
Avoid physical contact in greetings or farewells.
