Is there anywhere I can get free counselling and health check-ups as a prostitute?

Many public health offices offer counselling, free and anonymous tests, check-ups and treatments for prostitutes. 

There also exist sexual health or AIDS counselling centres that offer free or low-cost tests for HIV and other sexually transmitted infections (STIs). 

Many counselling and testing services in North Rhine-Westphalia are listed on the website www.hiv-sti-test.nrw; there you can search for a suitable service. You will also find information about HIV and sexually transmitted infections there.

If you have health insurance, you can also see a doctor. Your health insurance will then pay the bill.
